As my girls have grown and started leaving home Mother's Day has become so much more special. I just love seeing them all together and having fun. We had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant. Not only was the food fabulous, but they had a wall that provided the perfect backdrop and a big window for light! How thoughtful of them!
So here is my family and an extra one (extra-TALL one) who is quickly becoming a special member of the family.

ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Mother's Day to you Esther....lovely having all the family together and so cool you have the brick grey wall with light for your snaps too. We went to breakfast at the local cafe and I just took a few snaps. I couldn't get one of our whole group because it was just too busy to ask the wait staff to take a photo given that I would have to set it up etc. I got my sister to take a photo of the kids and I which I was happy with and I just used my 24mm f1.4 lens. She's not a photographer however I've trained her well enough to put the "square" spot focus on one of our eyes as long as we are on the same plain. Regards Kathy A, Brisbane, Australia
